General Terms

1. Application of Terms

By setting up an account with us, accessing and/or using the Services, you agree that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and these Terms shall constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Mr.Clean(as defined below). If you do not agree to these Terms, you are not authorized to access and use the Services, and you must immediately stop doing so.

2. Amendment

We reserve the right to change the Terms and any prices for the drycleaning & laundry services without notification to Customers. You are responsible for ensuring that you are familiar with the latest Terms. By continuing to access and use the Service from the date on which the Terms are changed, you are bound by the revised Terms, whether or not reviewed by you.

3. Definition

“Services” means, services provided by Mr.Clean, 24Laundry or MCFC Training Centre.
“Item” means any garment or article drop-off or collected by you regarding the order.
“Customer” means you are a customer and user of the Services.
“Terms” means these terms titled Mr.Clean Terms of Service together with the Privacy Policy.

4. General

All orders for Mr.Clean’s dry cleaning & laundry services shall be subject to the Terms set out herein. We however reserve the right to refuse service to any Customer. All Items submitted to us must be claimed by presenting the order form within 30 days from the date of the order form. We shall not be responsible for any Item not claimed within the said 30 days and shall have an absolute right to deal with any unclaimed Item in such manner as we think fit.

5. Item Care

We exercise the utmost care in cleaning and processing Items entrusted to us and use such processes which, in our opinion, are best suited to the nature and conditions of each individual Item. Nevertheless, we shall not assume responsibility for any color loss, shrinkage, damage to weak tender fabrics, etc. We shall not be responsible for trimmings, buckles, beads, buttons, zip, sequins, ornaments, etc. or any valuables claimed to be attached to or left on any Items submitted to us.

Curtain Cleaning: Depending on age, condition, material, and added features, curtains are treated on a case-by-case basis. When cleaning curtains, Mr.Clean will not be liable for damage of:

  • Curtains that have been weakened due to prolonged exposure to UV (in the form of sunlight);
  • Weakened stitching that occurs when cleaning;
  • Curtains with blackout lining;
  • Curtain attachments such as rings, tassels, glued-on trims, etc; and
  • Curtains that have suffered minor shrinkage.

Some curtain stains such as yellow or brown stains can be caused by sunlight or humidity, and are therefore not stains that can be removed via a cleaning process.

6. Loss or Damage

All claims on the lost or damaged Items must be notified to us at the time of collection.

After this period Mr.Clean shall not be liable for any missing or damaged Items. For missing Items, we shall have 21 days to locate such Items before you may submit a claim in accordance with these General Terms.

In the event of damaged goods, Mr.Clean reserves the right to inspect the Item before proposing a resolution. We also reserve the right to repeat the laundering, wet cleaning, or dry cleaning process for the Item, if, in the expert opinion of Mr.Clean, there is a likelihood that this action would fix the perceived damage.

Mr.Clean shall not be liable for any of the following:

  • Any damage resulting from any pre-existing damage or weakness in the Item, or any Item which we agree to clean at the risk of the Customer due to the nature of the Item.
  • Intrinsic flaws or defects in materials that may cause tears or the formation of small holes in fabric that are not visible prior to processing.
  • Items damaged that do not include a care label, or where the care label does not state the material composition of the Item.
  • Damage caused by Items that the Customer has left with or in the Items or the laundry bag, including but not limited to pens, tissues, and coins.

Mr.Clean’s liability with respect to any lost or damaged Items caused by us shall not exceed ten (10) times the charge for cleaning that Item, regardless of brand or condition.

7. Loose Items

Mr.Clean is not liable for loose things such as jewelry, watches, cash, detachable buttons, cufflinks, belts, broaches, stings, laces, hoods, or loose objects on Items , etc., despite our best efforts to monitor them. Customers should remove these Items and empty the pockets before leaving articles with us, as we cannot be held liable for Items that are left in the pockets which cause damage to your apparel (lipstick, gum, pen, etc.).

8. Failure or Delay

Mr.Clean shall not be liable to the Customer for any failure or delay in the performance of the Services which is due to any cause beyond its control, including internet interruption, water shortage, electricity shortage, labor shortage or dispute, war, terrorism, riot, sabotage, government acts, and other similar events.

9. Uncollected Items

Mr.Clean reserves the right to dispose of any Items not collected within 30 days of the date stated on the collection slip. Mr.Clean shall have no liability whatsoever in respect of Items disposed of pursuant to this clause.

10. Barcodes and Tags

Mr.Clean reserves the right to attach a barcode/tag on a non-obtrusive position of your Items. These barcodes and tags are critical in allowing us to monitor your Items.

11. Modification or Suspension of the Service

You agree that Mr.Clean may, in its sole discretion and at any time, modify, discontinue, or suspend its operation of the Services, any part thereof, or any Contents, temporarily or permanently, without notice or liability to you.

12. Cleaning Authorisation

For any Item cleaned with the Customer’s specific authorization or permission, the Items will be processed at the entire risk of the Customer and we shall not be held responsible for any damage developed thereon.

13. Service Days

Service days and turnaround times differ depending on the Items. Mr.Clean will make its best attempt to follow our service schedule; nevertheless, we cannot guarantee turnaround times and cannot be held liable for any damages that may arise as a result of a service delay.

If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, service may be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional days in transit for service. If there will be a significant delay in the service of your order, we will contact you via email or telephone.

15. Re-cleaning

Customers may return any cleaned Item for re-cleaning provided that such Item and a re-cleaning form as may be prescribed by us from time to time shall be completed and submitted to us at the time of collection.

16. Laundry Bags and Hangers

Mr.Clean owns all of the laundry bags and hangers that have the Mr.Clean logo. They are to be used in accordance with our service standards. As a result, without prior written approval from Mr.Clean, we cannot be held liable for any misuse of our properties by other third-party service providers. Mr.Clean maintains the right to reclaim our properties at any moment and without compensation to the owners.

17. Payment

The Customer must complete the online payment of the agreed-upon charges on or before the completion of the Services. All payments are non-refundable.

Additional Terms To The 24Laundry Service

This section applies to the users of the Mr.Clean Service who also use the 24Laundry Service.

18. Unclaimed Items

All Items must be collected within 48 hours after being returned to a locker. Items that have not been collected after 48 hours will be removed and a late penalty fee is incurred. Customers have 30 days from the initial collection date to claim their Items. Otherwise, we reserve the right to dispose of any Items not collected after that time.

19. Damaged Items

Regardless of brand or condition, Mr.Clean’s obligation for any damaged Items will not exceed ten (10) times our cleaning charge. Any damaged Items must be reported to Mr.Clean at the time of collection and returned for investigation within 48 hours of being collected at the locker. Mr.Clean is not responsible for anything that is damaged after 48 hours of the Items being collected at the locker.

20. Lost Items

Regardless of brand or condition, Mr.Clean’s obligation for any lost Items will not exceed ten (10) times our cleaning charge. Any lost Items must be reported to us at the time of collection. Mr.Clean is not responsible for anything that is lost after 48 hours of the Items being collected at the locker. Please double-check that your locker is properly closed and locked after you drop off Items in it. Mr.Clean is not liable for any loss or damage that occurs as a result of the Locker not being properly closed or locked.

21. Personal Property

Any valuable personal property that is placed in the locker will be removed by Mr.Clean and stored at our facilities for 30 days. After 30 days, all property will be disposed of if it has not been claimed. Please be aware that we are not liable for any personal item left in the locker, regardless of its value.
